What books would you recommend?

A room without books is like a body without a soul . Do you enjoy reading books?.  How often do you read?.  What kinds of books do you read?.  What's your favorite book?.   Do you have a big shelve of books?, or even a library?.  What book would you recommend to a stranger? All these are random questions book lovers encounter. Well, I will be highlighting 5 books I would recommend to a stranger. 1. Velva Jean Learns to Fly by Jenifer Niven  This is a fictional book with a mix of real life characters like Jacqueline Cochran;the first female pilot, General Arnold. The book is all about a young determined lady, Velva Jean, who had a dream of being a singer and singing at the Opry. Along the line, she had her dream channelled to flying...being a pilot and living beyond the keep after being turned down by various singing agencies. It depicts events and happenings of the Second World War. I highly recommend this amazing book and it's actually...

5 Ways to Motivate Yourself

There are various ways of getting motivated but I will be highlighting five effective ways that will get you back on  track.  Read Motivational Books  Reading motivational books help fuel our minds with positive thoughts. Set out time to invest in your mind by getting a motivational book from a book store nearest to you, or you could borrow one from a library.  There are some books that are highly recommended...books from Brian Tracy,  Napoleon Hill etc. Make sure you get your hands on a book this week.  Attend Seminars .  Most persons find listening more interesting than reading, attending seminars and workshops creates a platform not only for gaining inspirational knowledge but also to have a one on one conversation with the speakers. It enables you to clarify all doubts, questions concerning those crucial aspects of your life.  I attended one yesterday 27th March ... It was a youth seminar themed "Fearless '' organized by m...

Truth 002

My Refuge Earlier on Truth 001  I disclosed how I was emotionally bullied during my secondary school days. Truth 002 is a continuation of my life's thread . Right from my childhood, I had always wanted to be an helping hand to others In various aspects - through God's grace . That zeal made me start a movement then, with my best friend - a Christian fellowship - for kids, to help them grow spiritually and otherwise. Then I was in my junior year (jss2). Ifunanya (bestie) and I would gather friends...mostly classmates, during short breaks or leisure hours for fellowship. It actually helped us grow. I could remember vividly one time, I travelled to the village for a long vacation, I told my grandma (may her gentle soul rest in peace 😢) about our movement...the fellowship. She was like "...so what do you want me to do? ", I told her I needed new members at the village. She just stared at me and was quiet. The next day, we (my cousins and I)  had to conduct...

New Year, New Steps

Yeah!, 2019 is finally here , first I'm grateful to God for everything... Life, good health, grace, mercy...name them. Most persons couldn't see this year but we did, through his grace and unending love. I know you guys would be like "...first year's post in the month of March? ". I know!!,  I'm so sorry. I've been so preoccupied with school work and other personal stuff. Honestly speaking it hasn't been easy for me balancing my personal life and blogging. It's really demanding.  Anyway enough of that. So I know you guys have your year goal already stated down and are under execution. But I also know some of you haven't any year plan...which is appalling... But it's not yet too late to plan your year. Well I have mine already, prayed about it and I'm earnestly working towards them through his grace. This year we (my team and I) will do our best to serve you all better the very way we can. There will be some adjustments from Go...
